Level is tied to ascension. As far as I know you cant do what you ask without starting over at lvl1 on a new map. You may want to visit the official ARK Wiki/forum and ask your question there.

That's annoying, I was hoping that I could make our characters back to level one while keeping our implants at Alpha. It honestly seems like a massive oversight on Wildcard's part :/

As the title suggests - I want to remove levels from characters; Here's why

I and a few friends have finished the Island, ascended to Alpha, and want to move onto Scorched Earth. The problem is that we're all level 115+ and starting the new map would remove the entire difficulty IMO, and we want to experience the map, and future maps, as intended. Instead of running around super high levels, escaping from anything and everything, and being immune to weather, we want to go back to level 1, so we can level up once again while also KEEPING our ascensions from the Island. My question is how do I go about this?

I've been looking through a lot of forums, old Steam posts, the ARK wiki and even some mods and none of them help with what I need. All I want is to revert our ready-made characters to level one while keeping our ascension progress to retain the difficulty within the future maps.

(Just as a heads up, NO I don't want mindwipe tonic, NO I don't want to delete characters and spend an hour putting in console commands that barely even work, I'm simply asking for help with this)

There was a mod called LiquidXP, which worked for only one player, who's back to level one and is uploaded, but that mod doesn't work in multiplayer and the mod maker hasn't updated it in a year so RIP

Any helpful advice would be MASSIVELY appreciated :D

    Hi all!

I'm aware there's already a forum post similar to my issue but isn't actually the issue I'm having, which is why I'm making a post here.

The modpack in question is Dungeons, Dragons & Space Shuttles. I've followed the Nitrado guide perfectly and when it comes to running the server, it loads up until it loads the dimensions and just stops dead in it's tracks with no reason behind it. The console just says "Server stopped" but not much to work with, then proceeds to reboot again in an endless bootloop. Has anyone encountered this issue before with any modpack or the same one?

To me, it seems like it crashes on world creation, like it's wrangling everything together to form a world file but gives up and goes for another round of booting up. And yes, the server boots on my desktop PC flawlessly but only has this trouble on the Nitrado server.

Any help would be appreciated (and yes, I've contacted support and I'm hoping to find a fix here in between responses)

If the game is in preview mode then doesn't that mean it's subject to bugs and glitches more than the base game? I'd say check your server's autosave & backup timers, see if they're working and if so, change them to how much you want the game to save. If you're annoyed by loss of progress, I believe ATLAS has a creative mode feature? (ARK does anyway) so perhaps spawn stuff in to make up for it. Sorry for your loss of progress

    I don't believe it's 100% Nitrado's fault here...

I'd love for a way to easily ask for new additions to the server install list such as games or modpacks for Minecraft. Mostly Minecraft modpacks if enough people request it?

Recently had trouble trying to add a modpack (Dungeons, Dragons & Space Shuttles) to a server, gave up after a few hours as it wasn't on the install part. Hope to see a way for people to request new entries of packs to not just Minecraft but for other games :)

As 'nice' as it is to have an alternative panel, it's ultimately not needed. I keep getting crash reports on multiple servers of mine that this McMyAdmin tries to start up, fails, and stops the server from starting. Why do we need it?

I'm hosting a server for friends using a modpack called Project Ozone 3. I've installed it properly but I keep getting the following issue.

[6nMcMyAdmin Core Exception: An exception was thrown by the type initializer for System.Drawing.GDIPlus

    Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: net/minecraftforge/fml/relauncher/ServerLaunchWrapper : Unsupported major.minor version 52.0

    at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method)

    at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(

I've looked around on the internet and apparently it might be due to Java being outdated of which I've tried to start the server with both Java 7 and Java 8 but to no avail.

Does anyone know what the issue is? Any useful feedback would be appreciated!
