So what was the solution? I'm having the same problem!
Are you going into the pause menu holding lb,rb,x and y. a box should pop up that says request admim. From there you enter your admin password and click the request admin button it should change to admin admin command
Yes, I am. I know I'm entering the password correctly as well.
*Update*
I figured it out. Everything was telling me to enter: enablecheats <password>
You only need to type in the password, with "Enablecheats"
