I think FTP'ing up the new version is as good as it gets. I realize it's both a blessing and a curse, but at least with the steam workshop everyone kinda gets on the same version relatively easily. This is kinda one of the reasons I minimize the number of mods I run.

So I'm currently doing the last bit of housekeeping on getting my server setup, however a persistent issue I've been trying to figure out is infistar seems to be over-writing the ViewDistance in the *.arma3profile file, and using setViewDistance afterwards is also equally over-written. This has also been messing with TimeMultiplier and setTimeMultiplier settings....

I'm not really that tied to using infistar, however it's a convenient server-side interface that allows me to do all of the testing and other things I need to do to make sure the server is properly set-up. (teleporting around, shooting up missions to make sure loot spawned properly etc)

I know there's a setting in the AHconfig file that allows you to override this, however I am not aware that I have any actual access to the AHconfig (it seems to be using some kind of shared config). Anyways, i don't know if support could either set my view distance up to 2200m and set my time modifier to 6x, or whether they can just turn these functions off in infistar to allow me to just use the ones I already set in .arma3profile.

At the moment I have infistar turned off, just so I can accomplish some other needed testing, but I'm also open to other suggestions for other admin tools (unfortunately, now that armaholic is down (wtf?!) it's kinda hard to find good suggestions for this). I really want something that's server-side only, I know AdminToolkit and some of the others (NSS) kinda have a similar functionality, however they still require a client modification.

Update:

re-installed system with Arma3 Exile Altis, was still locked out of phpmyadmin. At some point the problem with phpmyadmin cleared itself (possibly via the action of someone else) I had to apply the SQL fix listed above. However I was unable to import it, and had to cut and past it a few lines at a time into the console. Either way, I consider this a win, and server is now working. Please close ticket.

Danach noch in PhpMyAdmin die in der ZIP befindliche a3_exile_1_0_4a_strict_fix.sql importieren

Klicke hierzu zuerst auf deine Datenbank (1) und danach auf importieren (2).

I went ahead and applied the fixes from this thread EXILE Server General Fix to see if it would fix anything, I'm still locked out of the sql databases.

I think all of these issues might just be due to database permissions... I pulled up PHPmyadmin...

Hey there, just signed up for a server, slowly going through and setting up another A3 exile server, bit rusty haven't done it in a long time.

Having two issues... first was having a problem with a setpos.txt kick. I set it to 1 (log) the next issue I came across is this one:

I kinda get the feeling they're related somehow.

This is an A3 Exile Tanoa server, so maybe that adds some complexity.

I did read another post that this may be DB related. given that there's a select statement in there, I'm imagining there's something to do with it. Appreciate the help, thanks!
