Dear forum members,
for some time now we have been creating and maintaining new ways to help game server admins with questions and problems as quickly as possible, e.g. our Guides section and the Nitrado Community Discord.

Therefore, we inform you that the Nitrado Forum will be closed on March 31, 2023. We are consolidating our community support to our Discord channel, which is faster and more efficient.   • Server Not Appearing in Server List

    Please always activate the logs for error checking.


    You activate this in the Nitrado web interface (the one with the dark background) in the general settings.


    Then you can see the errors your server makes in the GIANTS web interface (the one with the light background) under Settings - Log files.


    Should there be something with "Error: Could not start dedicated server with current mod setup because some dependencies are missing!"

    Then a dependency is missing.


    Missing dependencies means that there are mods in the moddesc.xml of the map that the map needs to run. If these mods are missing on the server, this message appears and the map or the server starts, but is not visible in the game list.


    So either delete the dependencies from the moddesc and redistribute the map to all players (not recommended because buildings are usually missing from the map) or reload the missing mods.

  • More mod space

    In order to upgrade your server and get the 25GB mod space you need to perform a hardware performance upgrade to at least "Advanced".


    To do this, simply go to your web interface on Up-/Downgrade and then select "Hardware Performance Upgrade" Advanced.


    With this you also activate the FTP access at the same time to better and faster upload your data to the server.

  • FTB OceanBlock

    As I understand it, you would like us to add the Modpack OceanBlock to the selection option.


    Since this is not yet available, you have to upload this modpack by hand.


    How to install it on your own machine, there will be instructions at the Modpacksite itself.

  • Can't access server

    it seems you looked in the wrong server list.


    you need to look on the unoffical server list then you will find your server.
