It can if you do not have them installed. Sometimes it will but you wont be able to connect until installed.
Try the other link on how to connect. Check your filters as well. I add them to Steam in Favs, then in the search filter select favs.

In your WebUI do you see a green dot? When its green it is up. If you see it, do you have mods?
If you have mods, your client may take longer to download them. If you subscribe to the mods in the workshop they will download faster.

Thank you for your reply. I do have a green next to the condition of my server. I also do have mods installed from the steam workshop. does that really affect the server not being seen? I'm new top this so I'm not sure.
Which version of Ark are you using to connect? The stream version or the windows 10 version ?

Hello, I purchased a server yesterday and since then, I have still been unable to located my server on Unofficial Ark Pc. It just doesn't show up. I've tried changing maps, using password protected\non-password protected, restarting game, restarting PC, reinstalling Server, etc etc and nothing seems to be working. i require help please.
