Should be a notice on your Dashboard about it:

"Currently, due to the latest patch, the Valheim servers cannot be entered. The difficulty will be fixed as soon as possible."

I guess keep an eye on that and the twitter post for updates.

No, Vulkan doesn't change anything on the server, it just uses Vulkan instead of DirectX to render the game on your PC and you can change between them - nothing is "converted".
Vulkan might improve in-game performance for some users, but it also might not.
For me, it messes up my colours in game and has no noticeable frame rate improvements so I don't use it.

The one thing I've never managed to successfully change is the password. It lets me change it in the web interface but then won't let me log in using the new password. Using the default password is the only way I can log in.

Annoying as the default format isn't exactly memorable, but not game breaking.

this still didn't work, finally managed to get in a game but still have the connection symbol

might not have fixed the problem but at least it's ruled it out. hope you get things sorted

It seems this is a widepsread problem but no communications from Nitrado about this particular issue, and going by these forums it's a common issue.

Would be nice if they could issue an official statement about it or something.

It only helps when the server is on and working though...so not often at the moment!
