Hello everyone! My wife and I have been renting and playing on our own private Ark server for about two weeks now and started out on The Island map. We've really been enjoying it so far, but want to try another map. My question is this - how do we switch maps without losing our saved progress on The Island. We don't necessarily want to move anything over from our Island save - we'd want to start new survivors on the new map. We also don't want to lose everything we have done on The Island in case we want to go back to that save and pickup where we left off. This may have been answered in another post but I could not find a definitive answer. I'm asking because I tried it last weekend - we wanted to go to The Center map, and when I did we lost everything we had done on The Island. It's probably something I did wrong but I wanted to check with the more experienced Ark players. Thanks for your input and please forgive my newbness!

I had a similar issue when trying to launch ARK from the web interface of our server. It appears that while my local game files are updated for the Love Evolved event and update that dropped today, most servers have yet to be updated with the same files. It's just a matter of waiting for them to update now. I had also tried logging in via Steam and our server was not listed. Hopefully the updates will be pushed out quickly. We are relatively new to having our own game server with Nitrado but from what I am seeing the Love event updates have not been rolled out to servers yet. I thought that the update itself was released earlier today but it appears that the devs dropped it later than I thought. Hopefully they'll be updated soon. In the meantime it's time for some 7DTD lol...
