so I currently found a host (will not mention who as per Nitrado rules) but I want to bring an issue to light that 41.6 is VERY ram hungry and the standard bundles for version 40 will probably result in a server crash in short order. Even with 4gb the server crashed around 10 players.
Nitrado now has an official Discord server to bring communities, friends and other gamers together!

Lurkers (yes, you!), don't forget to comment and show your support for this requested feature, maybe it will speed things up.
edit: doesn't seem like nitrado employees lurk this area of the forums. I'm busy today but maybe someone can open a support ticket under their server and link this thread?
PZ just released a new multiplayer beta. It's basically an entirely new game and the old version is redundant. U
How can I run the multiplayer beta version 41.6 in project zomboid?
NITRADO EMPLOYEES: if you are experiencing an influx of requests for project zomboid servers, its probably because of this.
Project zomboid is about to get a tonne of multiplayer servers, it has over 40 000 reviews on steam, I hope Nitrado provides more configuration to corner this market.
edit: seems the game is on version 40.43 or something like that. no option to change the version.
Okay, well now it said it's restarting with the option to force start or stop. I tried both and nothing happened.
Dashboard says the above, but theres no clarity on when the update will be done.
Since ARK is notorious for long update times, I wonder if this applies to the server as well. I really wanted to play because for the first time, all of my friends were going to come on tonight. Shame that the only time we do that I'm locked out by a cryptic update.
Says it's updating for me... great.
