    Like I said, Nitrado, is not the only place anymore. Waiting on anykind of mod's, will take forever with them.
    And disabling crossplay on PC, is just the thing I would expect from Nitrado. To try to make xbox version more relevant.
    Nitrado is nothing more then a share hoster anyway, that's overpriced for what you get.

    With Cossplay, Nitrado lost their Monopoly for xbox servers with space engineers.
    There is no reason to pick Nitrado now, and if you want SE Nitrado, go PC as it doesnt have extra 30% Microsoft Store Tax.

    This ID, excuse was never relevant, as SE for Xbox doesnt use it them in map or blueprints so on from the first moment Dedicated servers were release here.
    It's 100% Nitrado issue, with super slow development..

    Also SE Xbox Nitrado for the mod here, there is no way to edit any files even the cfg and there is No file browser to speak off.

    SE Xbox Server via Nitrado via MS Store are now completely obsolete!!

    I was able to connect to my server remotely via VRage Remote Client two days ago, but now am unable to connect. No settings have been changed as far as I am aware. Is there something wrong internally or has remote api been disabled as well as config file editing?

    As far as I know they're "working on it". Apparently it was an issue with Microsoft, but they're making a section in the Web Interface called "Player Control". Right now it only let's you ban people, but they're saying you'll be able to promote to admin with it soon. /shrug

    That is not working at all, no players show up in that jet again broken function.
    They should not disable a working way to get admin for one that is not working at all.


    Especially on a lie, because of access to xbox live user ID as that can not been seen even with vrage remote client or 3party app access to vrage remote api.
    Those objects are prived and they can't be accessed using vrage remote api.

    It's a complete lie, got the same answer a xbox live user ID is 16 characters long made out of number & letters that is not to be found in world maps.
    They is no need to disable every function because of that, as it's only seen in os/app parts we can't see or access anyway..

    All we're asking for is ftp access for only our active world directory, not the hole dedicated server application.
    As for the rcon port they disabled it and only works with vrage remote client what is the only way to get admin, as of writing this their Player Control is also not working at all.
    You can't disable something that doesn't have a working replacement, this is unacceptable & just stupid.

    It's apparently how Nitrado thus business. :cursing: Microsoft should penalize Nitrado for allowing them to release this broken&limited service for SE-XBOX!
    Instead of being blamed by Nitrado for their complete incompetence they should care more about quality user experience with services associated with their Xbox brand.

    As for me, already got my money back and for some reason still have the server, but it's more or less useless to me. Just to broken & basic to work with.

    Mostlikely there are some security concerns, but I don't see how Keen can add those edition to like mods to the game on xbox without attending to them.

    Access to file's with dowload/update permissions + backup support are need even it that a Advanced features for some, but as programmer myself it needed for RP scenario development what can only be done on pc with visual-scripting tool, then upload for testing & optimisation on xbox, it not like it's hosted on xbox it self that's why script only work on dedicated servers. It is somwhat weird to me that mods on xbox SE beta are loading on the xbox and scripts not. But there must be a reason why mod are allowed as I can upload one via mod.io then download locally xbox. Maybe it put in a isolated container?

    You can use Visual Studio with intellisense by downloading MDK-SE, and develop the mod/script on your PC, then upload it to mod.io and subscribe to it. Then you can download the script from a programmable block to run it. That worked for me, but now I'm in a restart loop as many others are. :rolleyes:


    Edit: It was easier for me since I own SE on Steam too, so I'm able to test the script locally before pushing it to mod.io, so if you want to do development I'd recommend having it on Steam as well.

    Me too both platforms, but script don't run locally? Atleast not on xbox se main?
    I have not looked on xbox beta version. But it thus make sens if mods can run locally on the beta so should scripts too. (but have not tested it)
    But yes on dedicated servers scripts work(no mods jet), if I can turn it on that is. Because as right now it's not accepting my server setting and i'm not alone. ;(

    I suspect something between MS and the vendor. Nitrado provides the hardware. Whatever they allow in the release is made available if possible.

    I also have that problem, game session setting in cfg are not implied even if it updated in cfg file. It stays at to defaults of 80k per player 320k for the server.
    I'm really thinking of ms refund for my 90days, no ftp, no way to do some custom map testing, and buggy dashboard I don't want to use or like.

    See if I can talk tomorrow with support, to see if there's something they can do, tell on future update, like ftp as you need that with server mods. If no = refund for me
    I will have to see this week-/+, 14day EU law applies for me atleast via ms.

    I got just before the 25% discount ends as a test server, only to find that everything like ftp for file-browsing is disabled. :cursing:
    Why would you disable all useful & essential functions? ;(

    For me I need access to savefiles , absolutely necessary to test a scenarios I'm working on.
    These Limitations unworkable even for xbox server, it not like i'm modding game files it just custom map/scenario

    I already tried ftp in using server ip/rcon port with username found in log pad but that's not working.
    If anyone has done it, please let me know?!
