for some time now we have been creating and maintaining new ways to help game server admins with questions and problems as quickly as possible, e.g. our Guides section and the Nitrado Community Discord.

  • Raising max player/dino level cap

    These are the setting I use for Xbox. Unsure if they would be the same for PC/Steam.

    You might try changing

    DinoHarvestingDamageMultiplier=1 to 0.5. See if that helps.

  • Enable Friendly Fire

    Stop the server for at least 5 minutes before making changes to your game.ini file on the server. As to bDisableFriendlyFire=True & bPvEDisableFriendlyFire=True, both should be False. Then save changes and wait a few minutes and restart the server. That is what I did to my server. Hope that helps.

  • Freezing server on xbox

    This happened to us while we were on the Fjordur map; We were getting DC'ed about every 30 minutes. I spoke with Nitrado IT several times, and they would change my map IP Address, which really did not help. I changed maps and have not had any issues.
