Landongr I followed everthing you wrote to the letter but i still cant connect to my SE xbox server.
Make sure you are using the correct port number. It is the querry port listed on your server dashboard. If you have the HTTP:/<your server IP> and the proper port, it should come up. If you have some local firewall running on your machine, you may need to open that port.
I managed to get connected to my server this way. Is there any chance this tool can be used to customize the settings for the server (inventory size, PCU, etc?)
Sounds like it is still new or the devs havent released the feature to be able to.
I know they have been messed about by Microsoft, and I understand enough to realise they need to do it properly, it's just a little frustrating having a server for a week that you can't really use (that and some of my players are VERY unhappy that there was no server security at launch, and are letting me know on a very regular basis)
I'm in a similar boat with not being able to customize my server settings at all. No matter what I do up to and including reinstalling the server nothing works. I got a response back from support after several days of working on it telling me that it is not possible to customize your server at this time. Strangely I can see several Nitrado servers in the server browser that do in fact have customized settings. It's all very confusing and quite annoying at this point.
Server settings won’t update to what I have applied. Tried resetting and stoping server for 30 min and saving settings then starting.
Here's the response I got from support after hours of trying to figure this out.
"Thanks for your support request and for being aware of your server.
We would like to apologize for all the inconvenience that you have
experienced and the waiting time. Currently, it is not possible to set your
server configuration in Space Engineers (Xbox), we apologize for the
inconvenience. Our Development department is already working together with
Space Engineers development team on bringing that feature back soon! Thank you
for your patience and understanding. We understand the inconvenience that this
might cause. We are improving security in the servers. We're going to extend
your service time for this situation.

and the waiting time. We understand the frustration you might be having,
mostly because this is out of your hands, our Development department is
already working together with Space Engineers development but currently we
don't have an estimated ETA, we understand the situation, if you want a refund
until the issue is completely fixed, you will need to contact Xbox support,
all transactions made through the Nitrado app, are processed by Xbox not by
us, therefore we can't give you a refund directly, but Xbox will.

Ok I just reinstalled mine as well and that did stop the endless restarting... however it does not show in the server list when searching in-game. Is there something I missed to get it to be publicly available?
Exact same issue here. I submitted a support ticket but haven't heard back. Purchased a New York server a few hours ago, infinitely restarting.
