Landongr I followed everthing you wrote to the letter but i still cant connect to my SE xbox server.
Make sure you are using the correct port number. It is the querry port listed on your server dashboard. If you have the HTTP:/<your server IP> and the proper port, it should come up. If you have some local firewall running on your machine, you may need to open that port.
Many server providers have decent instructions on how to set up dedicated server, which includes the VRAGE executable which can connect to a remote server (like these).

Seems like you can promote yourself using the Vrage client on PC if you own it from steam you can connect to the Rcon port
That is what I did.. used the VRAGE client and can manage grids, promote users, etc.
Does the XBOX server code not currently support random encounters or Pirates? I have them enabled in the config but they are not being spawned in. I also have drones enabled.
I had an unknown signal drop early in a game. Also had spiders and wolves enabled and the spiders were brutal on a new survival so turned spiders and wolves off. Now there are no more unknown signals dropping. Still configured. Restarted the server a few times, re-enabled spiders and wolves, still not dropping unknown signals any longer. Anyone else have them working? Wonder if it was a bug that the one dropped, since it did not act grant any skins. Don know if that is enabled yet on xbox.
My server is doing the same. Hope you opened a ticket. I did. They said they fixed it a couple of times now, but it is still doing it. No idea when it may be resolved.
I have not been able to even log in once because my server instance is also just restarting over and over. Opened a ticket and they have said they fixed it a couple of times now and no change.

Is there a way to load custom 'scenarios' in the game servers for the XBOX version of the server? It only seems to allow a choice of pre-defined game types from the default game.
