  • Cars Despawning/Wall Despawning

    I have a few car mods set up in my server but a handful of them keep despawning really quick. Players lose their cars when they walk away from them. I edited the lifetime for cars to 5184000 seconds so I just don't understand what I did wrong? Also, players keep losing their things when they leave their bases, mainly the walls they build. Anyone know what to do?

    Won't lie I hadn't slept for 36 hours yesterday and was working on my server for those hours when I (regrettably) posted all this stuff. (Just so you know I never post in forums unless I already searched across the internet, google, and the Nitrado forums in every possible way I could, it would be dumb to NOT look up stuff beforehand. Mind you, I was also doing research in those 5 hours of waiting before I posted that last comment out of anger with myself and the server.)

    My frustration was through the roof because I ALSO have a life to live and was pushed into doing this server last second because no one else in my group knows anything about technical stuff.

    But thank you for putting my tired self in-place because now that I've slept, I mostly agree with you lol
    I do have to say that Nitrado is VERY frustrating and I've noticed a lot of people don't really use it for DayZ (PC) because of how complicated it has to be for ANYTHING to work. And I can't agree with the fact that Nitrado has the most "informative forum" because it doesn't have anything about simple DayZ PC problems

  • Server Restart Countdown Messages?

    Heyo, not sorry for continuing to ask questions in the forum, it's the only way to find out anything about Nitrado because the rest of the internet seems to know nothing about it.

    Anyways, I'm trying to create the automatic countdown messages for when my server does restarts, but I just can't seem to get the time right or something. I have the server going off of UTC time and I want it to reset/restart every 6 hours and give players a 30 minute warning, a 15 minute warning, a 10 minute warning, and a 3 minute warning. Someone please tell me what I should type in these?:

    <message>

    <deadline>330</deadline>

    <shutdown>1</shutdown>

    <text>The server will restart in 30 minutes.</text>

    </message>


    I put '330' down hoping that it would tell players at 5 1/2 hours that the server will reset in 30 minutes. But it never popped up. I have the regular messages working (the ones that appear when players log in), but I can't figure out what's wrong. I NEED to get the automatic countdown messages right by TONIGHT because we are supposed to do a showing.

    (Hella pissed at my partner for scheduling such an early date for the showing because it has taken me over two weeks to install 5 simple f*cking mods to my server. We have 10 mods now, but the fact that I don't know how to edit the simplest message, REALLY gets on my f*cking nerves. UGH.) Some one pls help ;(

    I also REALLY need help with setting up a priority queue!!!!

    Anyone know how to mess with or set up a priority queue for DayZ PC servers here on Nitrado? We are trying to offer it as a reward for donations on our server, but I don't know what to do. I've looked all over the internet for this one, but couldn't find anything on it.


    And I know I asked this in an thread ealier, but does anyone know how to edit the map itself with VanillaPlusPlus Map? I just need to add one simple line through the map so players can see the division of our land.

  • VanillaPlusPlus Map

    So I have the VanillaPlusPlus Map mod installed and working on my server, I just don't know how to edit the mod. I need remove the mod's markers that automatically appear and add new ones. I have the exact coords for the new markers, I just don't know where to find the file I need to edit. Anyone messed with this mod on Nitrado before?

    Also, does anyone know if there is a way to edit the map itself? I also need to draw a line through the middle of the map because one half of my server is PvE and the other half of it's going to be PvP with no rules. (I'm running a new Roleplaying server, if anyone is interested in joining, please let me know! I have a Discord set up for it as well!)
