Might be fixed - I can now get onto my server via the ingame browser (battle eye enabled)
Does anyone know if other hosts are having this problem or just Nitrado?
Im a new customer of theirs and want to understand if this poor customer service and complete lack of communication is normal? - I get that sometimes things go wrong, but to not provide updates or an ETA to paying customers is extreamly poor service, should I escape now? - Looking for a geneuine responce, not just 'go now' etc... because people are angry at the current situation, I just want to know if this is how they always do business? - do they have more downtime than other providers?
How easy is it to transfer your progress over?
I have found a workaround for our group at least. Direct connect. Start a local session, access console. enter "open ip:port" and i got rigth in. just not through the front door. not sure how to make this work with a password protected server, but it worked for us tonight. this might help target the problem too. login servers?
You need to disable Battle Eye also to get this to work, or it will kick you after 5 minutes.
Appreciate you have placed a notice on our servers now, but this has been going on for quite some time with little to no explination from yourselves as to what is happening. We are all paying for a service - one that you are not currently delivering. at the very least you could keep us updated via the forum MODS as to what is happening.
The customer service here is terrible.
We are investigating issues with Epic client users getting a connection timeout when joining a server.
If you're using the Epic client version that's likely the cause.
so we can connect to other servers when using epic games client but not on your servers and its epics fault?
I can connect to my server using the Open <ip>:<port> command from another session, its just from the join server screen we get the timeouts. Unfortunatly the open command only lets you stay on the server for 5 minutes before battlyeye disconnect you.
