This was resolved by using a proper FTP client, rather than Chrome or Explorer to test credentials.
Now onto why I can't view my expert settings... "The requested file or directory could not be found" - opening a support ticket for that.

What was the solution here? Having the same issue. Server is stopped, credentials don't work. If I try and change the password it says
User (username removed home directory not found
