Dear forum members,
for some time now we have been creating and maintaining new ways to help game server admins with questions and problems as quickly as possible, e.g. our Guides section and the Nitrado Community Discord.

Therefore, we inform you that the Nitrado Forum will be closed on March 31, 2023. We are consolidating our community support to our Discord channel, which is faster and more efficient. We have also seen incredible growth in our community due to the hard work of our moderators and our bots. UPDATE THIS IS STILL HAPPENING

We are finding iguanadons breeding, hatching and growing in the redwood. On the beach. They grow out of control.

We wipe all dinos in their ”tribe“ and all are gone. Then later they all come back. So this isn’t solved.

Is this just a nitrado server issue or an ark general issue? It needs to be fixed.

no surprise it’s been days and days and nitrado haven’t responded to my ticket yet

Another thing to be aware of, sometimes when an update is released the game files and data file do weird oddities. If you catch it soon enough, you can fix by restoring from a backup. WC suggests this as well. Just sharing what others have reported over time about the same and how others have resolved some odd things. Its ark. ;)

example: update happens and somehow everything or some stuff has breeding enabled. Game glitch.

So yes, it may happen again along with other odd things. I've been playing for over 4yrs, well over 3000hrs- I still see weird stuff happen. :)

    Fun stuff.

Very weird but for sure because of the update. From now on I will roll back to before the update to prevent this thanks.

People all the time come on servers, and random breed. Admins would need to look around the server, and know the players that are on.

Also, if you have dino decay, they will eventually be unclaimed. And if the tribe before had them breeding, they will continue.

Glad you were able to figure it out.

also the issue is they ARE unclaimed. And breeding out of control and eggs hatching. Please read the full report on here. This isn’t an open server and these dinos aren’t from another tribe they are dinos we found unclaimed by the thousands on our map breeding out of control. And it is odd they are what we have been breeding ourselves. Also they shouldn’t survive to adulthood but they are. Again it’s password protected. Please read all details this isn’t griefing and this is a weird issue! Neither me or my friend thought ”hey I know what would be funny let’s go crap out our server by breeding a tonne of dinos in the wild and unclaiming hundreds and set them all to mating“ do you know how long that would take. I have photos they are raptors and iguanadons breeding and babies everywhere and laying eggs. These are UNCLAIMED dinos. Not belonging to anyone.

Another thing is none of our unclaimed dinos were ever set to breed and it’s not like our babies would grow up without food!

hi, not the case we are a private password protected server. As mentioned it’s just me and my friend so this is an issue with either ark after the update or nitrado. Likely ark. I’ve had people on other forums report the same issue. So please can you pass this on to nitrado. All the dinos are what we have been breeding but not from us and it’s not a coincidence others are reporting this at the same time.

    Hello

I've made them aware of whats going on. I would suggest to still submit a support ticket so they're aware which servers its affecting.

hi, so we discovered masses and masses of unclaimed adult dinos in massive groups between the redwood and volcanoe on the island. (We live at the red Obelisk)

this is what was overloading our ark. They were breeding! And managing to incubate eggs and grow up! How! If we have an unclaimed raptor it dies.

It’s not like they came from us and ran into the wild so far away, how does this happen?

we wiped dinos from the unclaimed tribe but will this problem come back? Please can you update nitrado on this issue.

I'm having the same issue on my server. It just started happening late last night.

I've raised our personal tame limit and our tribe tame limit, put tames in cryopods and got rid of tames we weren't using. Yet it still says "Too many tamed creatures on the ARK!"

Is this some sort of bug from the recent update? I've never seen this happen in the past.

we have tried this too. In general settings under tame limit. Is the personal tame limit in the .ini expert mode? My friend did say she checked this too. She said nothing works.

today I’m going to roll back the server to before it happened even though it likely won’t help. It’s not like I’ve been playing the last 3 days as I can’t build up my boss rexes.

Still no reply from Nitrado support

Today suddenly breeders won’t breed and eggs say we have reached max tamed creatures on ark.

we are a Tribe of 2

Have not even reached 100 dinos most likely approx

we have had significantly more dinos in the past

General settings were set to 1000 tamed max (which we are nowhere near) I upped to 2000 to be safe.

I’ve restarted the server and nothing works.

I don’t have expert settings enabled and don’t want to because it won’t save my settings now and I don’t want to mess around with that.

has anyone had this issue, knows how to fix it or has anything that might help?

    Thanks :cursing:
