Dear forum members,
for some time now we have been creating and maintaining new ways to help game server admins with questions and problems as quickly as possible, e.g. our Guides section and the Nitrado Community Discord.

Therefore, we inform you that the Nitrado Forum will be closed on March 31, 2023. We are consolidating our community support to our Discord channel, which is faster and more efficient. We have also seen incredible growth in our community due to the hard work of our moderators and our bots. We are confident that this move will ensure that we provide the best support possible for our users.

Thank you to all members for your continued use of the forum!

Assistance with all questions concerning your Nitrado service can now be found in these spots:

So I looked around and just lots of unanswered threads or nothing that seems specific to my issue.
From what I'm seeing again and again, is the server will sit fine with nobody trying to connect to it.
But if I try to join it or someone else does, it causes the server to restart.

At a loss since nothing changed that should be affecting that setting.

I tried looking and couldn't find anything to conclude, is there anyway to upgrade the mod limit size or would I have to use another service to do so? There's some nice mods that I'd like to use like the Radio and a few others, but since they are over 200-300+ MB I can't install them on the server as it currently stands.

    Thanks for your time.

Thanks for that, I think I got it.

Only issue now is with the 1.08 update coming, and assuming what I read around here is correct, the servers update to the newest version automatically?
And if that is the case, I assume all I have to worry about is making sure steam updates and I update any mods server side?

    Thanks for your help/patience Jaeger.

So while trying to get some mods to work the game eventually runs into something it doesn't like and decides to break where the server will no longer load until I do a reinstall despite deleting all links to the mod at broke it and restarting.

So I guess what I'm trying to figure out is if it's possible to recover the server information (base building and placed item, characters etc.), I mean I'm certain it is but what files would I be looking for to save my own sanity and that of those on my server? ;)

I'll put it as plain & simple as I can, I'm pretty much illiterate when it comes to computers. The only way I manage is step-by step instructions and learning that way over repetition. So I know how to navigate folders and do mods that way.

The problem is Nitrado doesn't have a profile folder, or at least one that I can find. I'm told it's either SC or Config from what I'm reading, but again none of these is on the list.

To my knowledge it's the the path of -
    C:\Users\USER NAME\Documents\DayZ

but again no Config or CS folder
