I think this is because the servers are not on your “local time” but further east? It can make saves look like future. I see that all the time. You got to figure out where you are in relation to it and subtract the hours.

Yeah i agree. Still setting line all up right now. Turning stuff on and off to find what i like takes a while. Hardest part is setting difficukty to be fun.... but able to so a solo aloha boss as well. Im keeping my server small, fam and friends knly right now. Just figured out how to soawn dinos on maos now... so imntrying to find 2 or 3 good maps to play. Hardest part is element. Gots have it so Extinction or Genesis has to be there amd i dont know how available element is on Genesis yet.

Yeah scoves53. I just looked at the ones where I knew some of the older tribes. Nitrado is getting the files from the latest closure though. I got my support ticket in to see when/if they will post them here. I just want my base back lol I worked on it a year and a half mostly solo. Miss it. I made sure when I moved that I left everything intact on it so that I can start it up and just move in

Some of the servers from 2017 are awesome LoL. I see tribe names that I know are no longer in existence on there, but in todays server there are always those floating doors in the middle of nowhere that have their names on them. Was kinda meet seeing how the bases were back then too... no cryo pods.. “roaming” to mate animals so HUGE pens were everywhere.

I do not believable that you can do that. You simply have to give each other your admin passwords for server admin stuff, if your wanting to allow him to have account priv then you would have to give him your login and p-word. Not recommended to do unless this is a real life friend of yours... I do it with my brother, but trust him for obvious reasons.

Has anyone heard when Nitrado will get the save files from the legacy server closings? I’d like to get my old base back LoL

ahhhhh well that stinks LoL. Course most of the lag is probably due to Xbox getting a bit old and outdated for some games... can’t wait for the new Xbox to come out lol

absolutely but this only works with the server saves that Ark has released to Nitrado... this is not a “side load” thyme of thing.

under “my services” I selected the server I wanted to change.
stop server.

Under general settings Change map to desired save map (this is from the list of Nitrado’s saved servers explained below)

Save

On left column under “Tools” select the official import option

Look for and select the official ARK server backup you want to check out. (The map should be out into general settings above)

It will import the file

Start server!

it’s pretty awesome. I ran around my old server that was saved from back in August 2017 LOL all the old boss tribes were there I could see peoples characters sleeping on the ground. All their dinos were out and about LOL it was really neat.

When ARK closes down the latest batch of legacy servers they are supposed to release more current versions of these servers to Nitrado.

yup... know it is a restriction... was just hoping that it had a way to be reconfigured with a little code or something on a private server is all. No worries.

When I first ordered my server I remembered somewhere in the set up it asked me if I wanted to pay a little extra for more ram for my dedicated server. I said no at the time and thought I would do it later if needed. Well now it’s needed, and I cannot find where the option is. Can you still increase the RAM on your dedicated server after you’ve purchased it?

Is this still a option? Or am I remembering this all wrong?

Good question, I did that too after only running the server for a month on a different map and all my stuff was still there. So either something is wrong or there is an actual cap on the number of “back ups” and I didn’t reach it yet.

I still can’t find an answer... looked through google for commands to enter and nothing yet.

not sure of all the details but that happened to me when I changed setting when I had babies that were already hatched. It didn’t recalculate them correctly. 🥴

So, had my Nitrado Xbox server for about a month now (little more) and was flipping through some setting etc etc... and I noticed a page that said you can download save files from the official servers? Thing is though, its latest update sais 2017 lol. Anyone know if that is a typo? Id love to grab the file of my official server and play it on mine. 6 months of building and getting things just right! lol.

edit... its called "official inport" and is on bottom left of the server tools page where you select information, settings or tools ... its under tools.

So, when transferring in my cluster... I can not transfer with element on me. No matter what I set on the “allow download” pages it’s a no go.... any ideas?

I would love to know too, unfortunately that link displays no txt. I own the server and want to make my brother admin so that he can log in when I’m not there and take care of things. We’re in Xbox. He can’t hit RB LB XY like to and request admin like I do.
