[Update#2] Epic Games client unable to connect to Ark servers

    I'm sorry the issue is still being investigated. Us mods do not have access to your accounts or servers. If you havent already submitted a ticket I would do so. Questions about added time I dont have an answer for that it has to be done througj support. Please make sure to update your support tickets with any new questions you may have. As soon as i hear something more I'll be sure to uodate you all. Im sorry for the frustration this is causing and the inconvenience as well.

    How does a server hosting company release a patch to all his customer's tenants without testing first?

    How hard would it be to perform a test release in a few servers first? Isn't it standard procedure for any reputable operations team?

    What about our SLAs? Almost 15 hours of downtime and counting, for a service with a monthly billing?

    This is my first week at Nitrado. I was considering to upgrade my server capacity. Now I am considering to open a dispute with paypal to have my money back.

    there has been alot of talks about rollbacks for non-official servers. On twitter wildcard says that all server hosts have to manually do this and it’s automatically done on official.

    What’s the truth in this, and what are the consequences if we don’t?

    Seems like you guys on nitrado need to make a hard decision pretty quick:


    1: make every ps4 server automatically rollback to before the launch of the update


    2: everyone has to manually rollback their servers


    I’m just curious about the assessment of the nitrado team about the issue. How much will it affect the gameplay to not do a rollback.

  • We've received a fix from Wildcard and are deploying it across all servers as I write this. Please let us know if you're still experiencing issues in ~1-2hours.


    Unfortunately, 3 hours later I am still getting Connection timeout. Server is up and running, Steam users are on, I have been struggling since yesterday with my EG account.

  • If you're unsure I would recommend rolling back using the backup tool.


    We're not going to force the choice on server owners if they have to roll back or not, they have the option. We've added a notification to user interfaces now so that everyone is at least well informed to make a decision themselves. Good suggestions Yoerio! :)

    Please restart the server, if you're still experiencing issues, submit a ticket and include all the details as well as what you've already tried. :)

  • I dont know why my post got moved here... im using Steam, not Epic games

  • A few friends and I joined and played for several hours last night to this morning, no problems ( we all were on epic games version)
    so I had stopped the server, changed a server setting, and now its password locked, I keep trying to remove the password, and it keeps putting a password on it, and when we try to use the password, it says Invalid Password. and wont let us join at all.
