SCUM Servers - An Update

Troubleshooting:

Problem: Still getting "Database operation failed!" at the end of character creation.

Solution: Reinstall the server in the webinterface. (Should take ~5mins)

SectorCooldownResetMultiplier - is still under the wrong section on the general settings page, should be under 'Respawn Settings' section.

Im assuming that as its sitting under the wrong section, when saved it wont be saved in the correct section of the .ini file either? Which it will need to be in order to correctly apply...

I don't see the admin settings am I doing something wrong? Crypto will you please post details on how to add admin to the config files??

Settings>Config Files

Then select the AdminUsers.ini

Under "config files", the file name is actually a dropdown, and you just select the admin one and push load file.

Lol Mine is not a drop down there's only one choice. I click on the box, its says ServerSettings.ini and there's no other choice, has mine not yet been updated?

Do I have to reinstall my server again?

I would advise to re-install and you will likely see them

i reinstalled my server because i couldnt see the admin ini file. now im getting The requested file or directory could not be found.

I had that, re-installed again and just left it for 20 minutes, came back and all was good...

Yeah that happened to me, 2nd/3rd time lucky!

I don't understand, what is the disconnect? I reinstalled 2 hours ago and left it and I still get that error message.

after the 3rd install it seemed to work for me.

OK I performed a server restart and I'm up. so what is the code for the admin users?

Nevermind, just place user ID in the box lol

Just checked my emails and theres no content within it.

Just says "infomail/scum1/text" in both the subject and content....
