I have recently purchased a server andt the server is showing up on the server list but when i try to connect it, it loads for like 30 seconds then say "Connection Timeout". is there any way around this? i did bump up some rates and changed some settings, could that be why i cant connect? someone please help

I think it has something to do with the epic games version.
Anyone tried customer service yet? Other hosting providers are having the same issue, but some don't.

If you all are still having connection issues the best thing would be to submit a support ticket. Tickets can take up to 24 hours to be amswered sometimes it may be a little longer if there are a lot of tickets in the system. Please be patient and allow for support to look at the issue.

Having the same issue, but here's a bit more info, I hope this helps.
The Nitrado server
Using Epic Games Store I cannot connect.
Using Steam I can connect.
The server build is 311.74
If I try to connect to a server with build 311.79 I can connect with either Epic Games Store or Steam.
so I feel Nitrado just need to update the servers to the latest version. -
This was suggested by another community member can you please try this as well
Go to General Settings and under Base Settings is "Allowed Platforms", make sure you have that set to allow Steam and Epic players or just Epic players. By default it is set to Steam only. This should make your server show up for you. Mine shows up but times out when I try to join so hope this helps and good luck
I do apologize if this isn't whay you're asking about. As for servers they all should be updated at this point.

I also get a "Login Failed - Connection Timeout".
As MechaGenide said it probably needs an update which is not rolledout yet.
If I search for Nitrado in the Server browser i see many Servers but they are all still on 311.74.
I made a ticket yesterday evening and was told it should be fixed till this morning
I enabled "to allow Steam and Epic players or just Epic players" (tried both).
I also tried to disable anti cheat and rebootet a couple of times.
The Server shows up in the Server browser (only when using epic client) and can be entered with steam client (when using the ip) but not working with epic client. -
They should be, but doesn't seem to be the case
I guess I was typing this at the same time as Akune
But yeah, search Nitrado and you find a list of servers all on 311.74 but general search there is about 50/50 on 311.79 -
I can confirm what MechaGenide said.
I tried joining other inofficial Servers on 311.74 from other hosters and I cant join them but when i try to join a server with 311.78 or 311.79 it works like a charm.
EDIT: I tried more inofficial servers with 311.74 and some of them are working. -

Now as it's a private server, I want to have a password, so this is probably the issue. If the servers can be updated to this version, I'd appreciate it

I found a nitrado server on patch 311.74 that is working but the owner seems not to be able to talk english so i cannot figure out how he got it working:
