PC EPIC Connect Issues

    That worked for me, thanks, finally everythings working nicely!

    A few settings that i changed (not sure which ones actually influence anything):
    VAC: off
    BattleEye: off
    Password: NO PASSWORD (This is definitely important)

    Allowed Platforms: Allow Epic Games & Steam (This is definitely important) (Edit: Leaving the field blank is how you put no password)

    Is your server on version 311.94? (Try restarting if not)
    Did you restart your server after you made any of these changes.

    That happened to me too, I restarted the server & I restarted my game. That made it work for some weird reason. (Maybe it just needs some time)
    Also try joining via the open command (earlier in the post). If all this doesn't work, you might need to wait untill the ARK developers fix the issues.

    Changed the title of the thread from “Connection Timeout” to “PC EPIC Connect Issues”.

    Customer service isn't picking up and just tells you to call later, no way to submit a support ticket. Just got a server and it doesn't even show up on Epic Games... yes it was updated to allow Epic players and was restarted multiple times

    Sorry that you are having issues.

    On the Nitrado Support page to create a ticket it provides the open hours of phone support.

    Also you can create a ticket. If you are unable to find a solution during the ticket process you can click on 'No solution found' and it takes you to a ticket creation page.

    Note the page says tickets may be delayed due to high volumes. Tickets are typically pickup up within 24hrs, and worked in the order in which they are received.


    This is a Community Support Forum where gamers and admins alike can suggest and help each other.

    Moderators have no access to ticket, the queue, nor servers.

    I didn't back-read this entire thread so apologies if someone already posted this. I just noticed the issue with passwords on the Wiki and decided to make a reply. It is possible to set a password on the server. If you find your server on the list, and type in the password (allowing the connection request to time out) and then go into single player and enter the connect command, it'll connect you to the server. Works for me anyway. You would have to do this every time you connected and it's kind of cumbersome, but it can be done.

    also another thing if u don’t mind me adding to it, turn off battleeye in your server if you don’t it’ll kick you out the server every like 10 mins.

    i have new problem when i with my friend connect my server and i play five minutes ago kicked with resason not responding can help me i use open with singleplayer and kicked my server whats the problem ?

    I've tried something and used a little bit the workaround from Keith2160.
    But that didn't worked for me.
    I still have the password protection.

    So i've made a little workaround but it requires ( wierd enough) an extra step.

    1. search your server normally

    2. if the server timed out, Cancel and make a single player mode character.
    3. Hit TAB and type:
    " open ServerIP:Portnumber Password "

    It look something like this:
    " open 46.45.2.13:26000 Pass123 "

    and your in.
