I accidentally bought a PC server without realising you had to download some App to actually purchase a Xbox server is there any chance I can be refunded in order for me to purchase a Xbox server? It would be much appreciated.

Please contact the support. Ordering or extending the runtime for a XBOX server is different compared to a PC server. The support can tell you exactly what to do.

Credits for a PC are credited to where they were purchased through which in this case was a PC and credited back to the site account. Xbox is purchased through the App which is a purchase from MS. They are not from the same company.
