QuoteA change like this has saved us 2-4 gigabytes of data on our servers (and will save on your server if you choose to run the applicable command line "-structurememopts"), and more memory means a smoother performance! We look forward to bringing you more updates and insight into our optimization efforts, as well as bring these memory optimizations to console in the near future.
you almost read far enough. Very last few words will answer that.

I read all of it and it doesn't say where the entry goes
It does not go anywhere because it's not to console yet. Last few words. By its style, its a command prompt, which isnt in the ini. Nitrado would most likely put it in the webui.
But its all speculation because..... Its not to console till "the near future".

My server is based on PC for PC/Xbox crossplay, and I am looking for definite answers not your best guess.
Hello
It's in the article that you originally posted. This is a direct quote from that article. It's not on console currently.
We look forward to bringing you more updates and insight into our optimization efforts, as well as bring these memory optimizations to console in the near future.
Pc/console crossplay= console server genius. PC = strictly PC , as in real mods, not just edits to the ini.
I think a more general question might be "where do we enter command-line options that aren't listed in the Nitrado web interface?"
For console servers , you don't. We don't have access to the command prompt directly like PC servers. Only indirectly through the nitrado created webui.
If you refer to
https://ark.gamepedia.com/server_configuration
You notice the commands under the "command line arguement" are options the fall under the webui even when it's in expert mode, that's because they aren't in the game.ini or the gameusersettings.ini.

I didn't come here to be insulted, I asked a plain and simple question, then added extra info so there was no confusion. so if you cant play nice stay out of the sand.
And you were given a plain simple answer. It's clearly stated in the forum post. Which we were kind enough to point out. And then you got snarky , so you get snarky back.
Please everyone calm down. Anything not appropriate will be deleted. Thank you.
To answer your question: we do not have access to the CLI as you are inquiring. I did not see this post until now, but had the same question for my ARK servers. I know what you are talking about. I have this very question escalated to Nitrado Engineer. It may be some time until I get a response, but I do have one in.
Thank you for your patience
I realize this is an old thread but their is a new setting in the Xbox Nitrado General settings for optimizing ram.
Correct. In the WebUI you can check the box.
