ARK PC: "DLC: Crystal Isles" Released 6/11

As many of you know a new DLC is coming to ARK PC. (sorry consoles, don't worry- it will come to you as well).

Some basic FAQs-

-If I am using Crystal Isles as a mod, will I have to wipe when moving to DLC CI? The answer is really yet to be determined. It will be up to WC when it is released. When Rag was released, no migration existed. 6/2 update: Yes, a wipe will occur.

-Once this new DLC is live, will the old MOD CI work? WC will have to answer that one and currently no one knows. Again, as with Rag, the mod worked for a limited time but no more updates to it.

Those are the 2 biggest questions we have seen all over the internet on forums, discord and social network feeds. Lots of rumors. Jsut have to wait and see.

Once the Devs have the files from WC they will work on adding it asap. No ETA available. It will be a map option just like an other DLC.

This is for PC since consoles will not be released when PC is.

Sadly the release of CI has been delayed. (please no negative comments on the delay- be positive).

Tropeognathus will also be available on all platforms and the stunning Crystal Isles will drop along with the event on PC at 11am EDT.

3 parts-

(1) Server Update. Once it is ready, CI will be available as a DLC map change.

(2) Clients Update: PC file ~14.1G.

You will see the new CI option available in your WebUI.

If you change the map, and if the modded CI appears in your ModIDS: you may want to remove it.
