10 slot server, lots of issues related to cars

Hey everyone,

I purchased a 10 slot server a few days ago and I'm having major issues related to cars.

When driving, the game freezes, stutters and often totally crashes meaning resulting in wrecked cars.

We've had the issue that when this happens for one person, anyone else in another car, their car bounces in the air, barrel roles, goes under the map and then lands on it's wheels again.

I woke up this morning to two totally wrecked cars, they we're parked up normally last night (one the hill going into Devils Castle).

The server resets every 6 hours BTW.

Cars in DayZ are very buggy and have been for ages.

I totally feel your pain, Grumpz. Sadly it's just how cars are on console right now. Im working on my 2nd month being a server owner and even with 16 slots it still does it. It has to do with zone loading done by the game engine. I had an ADA parked in staroye and stopped playing for a few days and when I came back it was up against a wall needing all front end parts, engine bay stuff and tires. It was confusing. Same thing has happened to a friend of mine on 2 different occasions. Ive just recently started experiencing the vehicles getting moved on their own and I don't understand it. I cant wait to see what the devs have in store for us with this years updates.

it’s not only your server, it’s an issue on both consoles, Xbox and PS4.

I heard that PS4 players often drive backwards to lower the risk of destroying their cars, no joke.

It does happen randomly, but when it's not bouncy lowering FOV and driving in 1P helps with the lag, I've done 150kmh in PS4
