Hello fellow Ark owners. I own a "center" map and have a small steady population. We host bi-weekly events/challenges for competition and prizes. I am looking for another small single map server (other than center) that wants to partner up and allow sharing and travel between our maps.

Hey men, i dont even know if its possible to cluster with somebody else. I tried it with a friend of mine who has his own server and nitrado account but just sharing the cluster id didnt even work...

Sharing the cluster IDshould work with. one person creates a new cluster ID then shares the ID with the other person and just have to restart both servers with the saved settings

Thats what i figured but for someone kind my server (extinction) says only upload while our other server the ragnarok server says transfer...
Ragnarok hosted by my friend is the main server where the cluster id is created on.
Then extinction is the second server where i put the same cluster id that my friend shared with me. We restarted both our servers but still it doesn't work. The version are the same

are the systems both the same also. Like xbox to xbox or PC to PC? Also make sure neither are password protected and that they both allow uploads and downloads.

Both servers allow uploads, downloads and there are no password on it.One servers needs to create a new cluster Id and act as the host server while the second server needs to enter that id then you should both save the settings and restart the servers. It does work I know multiple people that are doing the same thing.

Yeah well we did that and the frustrating part about it.
We followed the steps, my friend made a new cluster and i entered his ID in my settings as well. We restarted the server went to the obelisk (serveral times) but the server just doesn't show anything.
I unchecked the "show only password" protected servers so it should come up (because none of the servers are password protected) but it just doesn't...
We checked again and both servers are public 10 slot servers hosted in germany so nothin strange there... The only settings that are not the same are in game settings like taming speed
In other words whats going on? Because i read some articles about a security i wanted to make sure that it was or is still working.

If you've tried everything on the wiki and are sure it's all correct. I would say the next step would be to create a support ticket.

I have my ARK servers CrossARK'd atm with no issues. And they are with friends. Nitrado Support will check the server and get back to you on the ticket.
