I am having troubles where I will select an event and the cooking pot crafting will work for it but nothing else will. For ex: I have my Ragnarok on Winter Wonderland event and it won't affect dino colors nor will raptorclaus spawn. The only thing that works is the crafting of holiday items in the cooking pot.

Hello
We are aware of the events not working correctly at the moment it's being investigated and looked into.

Ok, thank you so much for letting me know. 🙂

Hi.
Is there an update for this? I just started renting a server today for my PS4, and even though I have Ark Events: Current Official Events selected, I am not getting the 2x harvesting, taming or XP as stated by the current event.
Many thanks.

Hello,
WC will need to release an update/fix before it will start working as it did before.
The best place for those updates are at the WC Official Forums for ARK.

Many thanks, Doagen, for your quick reply.
I appreciate it very much.

Any word on events working? I have a ragnarok server on ps4 and its still only showing cooking pot recipies when i activate an event. The only working one ive found is the Easter event

Until WC fixes it you can choose either No event or official.
No new updates.

Is this still down? Its already been two months...

It is not "down", it's not broken. It has been removed by WC. In a tweet by one of their employees it was stated that the Events system by which private servers can have the official events was removed in order to save on the load of the game. It probably won't come back. You'll still see event dinos as they are downloaded with the event updates. But as for the multiplier values, you'll need to adjust them on your server accordingly.
This is what the tweet said:
So, by stripping the ActiveEvent system from the game, we were able to reduce the overhead, which gives us more wiggle room for future content, as well as how stable the game is for people playing around larger bases/maps.
So, there you have it. WC removed the Active Event system in order to improve game performance. It is no good complaining to Nitrado about it; it is beyond their control.

then maybe remove the feature from the settings
