How does hosting several maps at once work with Nitrado?

Dear forum members,
for some time now we have been creating and maintaining new ways to help game server admins with questions and problems as quickly as possible, e.g. our Guides section and the Nitrado Community Discord.

Therefore, we inform you that the Nitrado Forum will be closed on March 31, 2023. We are consolidating our community support to our Discord channel, which is faster and more efficient. We have also seen incredible growth in our community due to the hard work of our moderators and our bots. We are confident that this move will ensure that we provide the best support possible for our users.

Thank you to all members for your continued use of the forum!

  • Hello! Title pretty much states the question, but if want to server cluster host all the official maps at once (6 or so of them), how does that work with Nitrado?

From what I read, when you choose a plan it only keeps one map on at a time, right? So would I have to purchase 6 or so Nitrado's in order to cluster host all the maps?

    Thank you!

  • Correct. If you want to run any amount of maps exactly at the same time you would need to have 1 server per map.

Now what some have done is run 1 server, 1 map for like weekdays, then change the map on the weekend, then change it back on monday.

Not this is a single profile file for the player. Which means the filesize will continue to increase. But say you decide to run one map for a month, and you switch back your existing game may be gone as the savefile eventually writes over.
