Cannot find the Address

I just hosted a server myself and am getting the same message.

Same here, just got it configured and clustered to some other maps and it won't let me login no matter what map I pick. Have restarted, full stopped, and hard reset my xbox. Also did the "play single player for a bit" trick and no dice. I have no problem connecting to other servers so I ended up submitting a ticket.

Same issue here.

Just purchased a server last night, shows up on the list just fine but every time I try to join I'm met with the cannot retrieve address error.

Tried every supposed fix I've seen around the internet, no luck.

Try rebooting your home Cable modem/Router.

And make sure you have the correct ports open so you can connect.

Do you see others in other locations connecting?

The same thing has happened to me, I did all of the setup correctly. Then went to get on with my friends and havent been able to. I purchased it last night around seven and have tried last night and all today. Nothing is working.

I have my DMZ open on my xbox so my ports should be open. I also restarted everything.

Restarted modem and router twice thinking I was perhaps assigned a stale IP and went through the router settings to ensure open ports.

Cleared cache on console. Open NAT, 0% packet loss.. etc.

I can connect to official servers and tried multiple unofficial open servers, no issues connecting to anything but my server.

I even had my buddy across the country try to connect to it and he was met with the same error.

Definitely appreciate your help and effort with our issue regardless. Seeing a moderator atleast making an effort gives me hope! 🤞

If it is a new install, you can also try a reinstall. Note: All backups will be deleted if you do this.

having the same problem. Thought it was my .ini and gamesettings. Did a full wipe. Then did a full reinstall.

Still not able to join. I tried setting it up ready to cluster and I tried to transfer in and lost a character to it.

If you are attempting a cluster, you can not have a password set on the server. That is a known issue and posted on the ARK forums. When a console has a pass and clusters an attempt more than likely will wipe character and any items uploaded. Fyi- I had ran pass PC servers for ARK for years with no issue but last month, wow: character/all items wiped with PC pass servers.

Sorry to hear about your issues with getting wiped. I was playing on a non-dedicated server a while ago that kept getting wiped once a week or so around the time The Center released on console. That hurt bad.

Sorry for going off topic and I hope we can all get to the root of the problems. Have a good one everyone.

Support is aware of the problem and has addressed it.

Please reboot your server and try again. It should be resolved.

If it has, please help out and by closing your ticket if resolved.

Got an email back and they did some backend server fixes and mine is good to go. Did all the restart stuff but a ticket fixed my issue
