Expert mode wipe?

Hi, my friend has a server and we want to change to expert mode from basic and have a couple questions

will changing to expert revert all the original changes from the other altered settings?

will it wipe our characters and tamed dinosaurs and base/ all our work?

no it will not wipe anybting and changing from regular mode to expert mode will keep all the settings however you cannot switch between expert and regular as switching back to regular mode will remove a whole bunch of settings and change them back to default.
