Connection Issues

Hello there,

I recently rented a server for some friends of mine and myself, and they’ve been managing to get on the server fine and connect easily, while I’m having a hard time connecting to the server, and when I do load in it will either time out the connection or everything will be very low quality texture-wise, with ping being perfectly normal. I’m curious as to whether it may have something to do with the RAM I purchased and if I may need to increase it to support the amount of players I have. Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance.

What type of server did you purchase? What platform as well? When it comes to purchasing extra ram the only servers these affect are Minecraft. Purchasing extra doesnt do anything for other servers.

It was an ARK server on PS4, and I'm not really sure what I could do to fix my issue if it's not related to the level of hardware I purchased.

Have you tried a fresh reinstall of the server as well?

Standard, haven't tried a reinstall and would like to avoid it cause of the progress we've made.
