Xbox/PC Cross-play Server Questions

    I would like to rent a server for myself (PC) and my friends (Xbox One) to play together on. I know that I must have the Windows Store version of the game and not the Steam Version. I have read online that I can't rent a PC Server and make it cross-play, that it must be rented from the Xbox Store Nitrado App - and then PC users can connect to the Xbox Server. Is this correct? Are there any other little tidbits of information I should know before making the purchase so I don't make a mistake and set up the wrong kind of server?

    Not directly. However, Studio Wildcard has announced to support PlayAnywhere for XBox One and PC. More info coming soon!
