Server Update

Dear forum members,
for some time now we have been creating and maintaining new ways to help game server admins with questions and problems as quickly as possible, e.g. our Guides section and the Nitrado Community Discord.

Therefore, we inform you that the Nitrado Forum will be closed on March 31, 2023. We are consolidating our community support to our Discord channel, which is faster and more efficient. We have also seen incredible growth in our community due to the hard work of our moderators and our bots. We are confident that this move will ensure that we provide the best support possible for our users.

  • I have not been able to connect to my server today. I get the message that the server is running an older version. Is there a time frame for the space engineers servers to get updated or is there something I am suppose to do in the server settings?

  • You can try and restart the server but i doubt it will change much.

    Updates are usually installed shortly after the release. If there is a problem, your server might not get the update.

    Please contact the support directly, there is nothing we can do here in the community forums.

  • Is there any kinda of ETA or when others get their server updated to know when ours is out of sync.

    There needs to be some way to know when it should be updated. as the OP steam updated my client, so we talking 2 hours / days / week ??

    like as an example.

    Update States Pending / Queued/ In Progress .

    as a bonus shoot me an email when the pipeline starts. "hey there is update for you XXX server"

    All i am asking is some amount of transparency. Is it worth the time to role back my client, is my server the only one that not updated.

    In this process of telling us nothing, how do i know when it is an issue ? Naturally i have already open a ticket that i am sure a bot will auto reply with canned response. I have shot my lunch hour in the ass now where i could have been more productive, like work though lunch and got off early....

    And to the mods, thanks for replies ( even if i don't like them ) i appreciate the communication, maybe you all can help out your teammates on the other end.
