Had 6 resets per day set up, every 4 hours. Just went in to shift the times by an hour each and had to delete the existing ones to make changes. So I do.
Now I'm being told by the system that you can only have 3 of the same event?
What gives? This game is buggy enough that about every 4 hours is about right. Maybe 6. But the only options are 3 times a day or hourly?
Whats going on with this?
the new reset panel itself is confusing
It changed from "Timed Restarts" to "Automated Tasks" and started restarting at times different than I had set. I removed the tasks and add new ones so it would restart at the times I wanted. Now it doesn't even restart at all. I don't know what they are doing but it makes zero sense and doesn't work. I had to manually restart my server last night, I thought that would start it restarting when it is supposed to... still doesn't work. So I guess I'm gonna have to manually restart it or let this "NITRAPI" take over restarting when it feels like??

Here you can see when I had my "Timed Restarts" set to do a daily Restart twice a day around Noon and Midnight. Then you see where this NITRAPI started doing restarts. And then you see my manual Restart.
So what is the use of the "Automated Tasks"?
It does not work, I tested all 24 hours timer to reboot within next 3 minutes while on the phone with Nitrado, Almost an hour on the phone and testing they agreed it does not work and has been escalated to L3, Hope to have a fix soon

so finally it fixed
Not fixed... just finally doing "something" apparently it restarted my Dayz server at 5:49am EDT, yet it is set to restart at 12pm, but the automated tasks says it last ran at 14:36.
So I don't know what it's doing but... guess I'll have to let it be chaos until I figure out the pattern.
I have to - 6 hours with UTC +2 to get right time for EST
so you have to play around abit to get the right conversion
It just did the restart for 23:59 which apparently happens at 14:59 (2:59pm) my time... so that means it's 9 hours ahead of Eastern US time zone. I guess I will just fiddle with it until I get it right. And hope it doesn't reconfigure.
Why do you even set the minutes to 59? Why not just one more hour?
So, it seems we have 5 now and the times are adjusted from UTC to your time zone. And they seem to happen 5 mins after the scheduled time.
Anyone figured out a way to do more than 5? Saw someone mention someplace about being able to do every 2 hours. No idea how that's done since the system only allows 5 or you can do them hourly, which is a bit much.
Really just like to get back to my 4 hour resets I had before. And would love to be able to set a message for them...Can't figure out if the scripts work with Nitrado or if that's just for PC servers.
I've tried the automated restart and added messages but they don't seem to appear before the restart. I've turned them off now and restart manually when the server is empty.
Anything that run more than 3 hours breaks the game, Lag issue, Glitches in tent Inventory, Even breaks message.xml shutdown syntax stop working most time
Nitrado schedule restart does not warn your players and if someone driving a car they die! Imagine.
Dayz server do shutdown and stopped once a day, these happen to all 4 server we own, You can do these following to automated your task, add 3 hours restart on message.xml

<deadline>180</deadline>
<shutdown>1</shutdown>
<text>The server will be restarting in #tmin minutes.</text>
</message>
On Nitrado schedule restart at 2am 4am 6am
This way when you're sleeping and server is down it backup, I call it "FailSafe"
How to configure.
On Nitrado Automated task configure start every 2 hours = 2am your local time
use "Start server"
Don't worry even tho your server is running the start server do restart the server, and if the server stopped running it starts the server
