help with collision

i own a server and i want to put loads of standing torches next to each other for eggs and such what command do i change in expert mode to do so, i have preventcollision to false and still does nothing.

That command wouldnt be for standing torches. Not sure if any command exists to change that. I say that because by default you can place them pretty darn close. I do the same for eggs and havent changed anything, all by default.

well im not sure because they have to be about a foot away from each other and i dont know if i have the wrong setting on or not?

By default they are about that far apart. No setting that I am aware of brings them closer than the default. I use them all the time for all types of eggs until I can get an AC up since that balances the temp.
