Figured to be proactive and eliminate all the posts that will happen as they always do. All other thread related to this post of ARK will be deleted.
This will be the INFO on a PC/Console Server update-
#1 Question: When will I get the update?
A: WC/STEAM/Nitrado will roll out the updates as fast as they can.
#2 Question: Why can't I update my own server instead of waiting?
A: Well, because its how Nitrado does it.
Why? Well, When a release comes out they want to protect their customers and network. You can have thousands of folks updating all at once. That would congest any network. Also when something is released it could have a bug. And the last thing anyone wants is to see another ticket: "I updated and my server doesnt work". Its better to test then update/release in any well ran environment. I know we may think 'What about me'? Well, it is about you, but Nitrado has to maintain a worldwide network and servers so they have to look at the bigger picture. And it helps if we shared that same vision. "Patience"?
#3 Question: I got the update it seems but my server is stuck in restart or simply in the Web UI is says 'restarting'.
A: This is expected behavior on any ARK update release day. Everyone just has to be patient and wait. After a period of time an option will appear in the webUI 'Force Shutdown'. You can try this, then restart. Creating a ticket only takes away the staff from working fast and hard to get the services back up. And creating multiple tickets for the same thing is NOT going to escalate the issue. If anything it will only congest the ticket system and more tickets will require more time. Of course say its stuck in restart and the force shutdown did not work, do submit a ticket to Nitrado Support.
#4 Question: I posted or started a thread regarding a server update either I am having issues or haven't received.
A: If additional posts are created, they will be removed. Announcements are placed here for a reason, and does have value. Of course if you need Support, create a ticket. Just know during a patch release or outages, the ticket will be delayed.
Here are some additional things that may come up, and I won't number them. I have used Nitrado 2+ years, and played ARK for that entire time and earlier. I have seen and experienced many updates. I'm sharing those with you in order to help with your frustrations to you may.
What about PC and Xbox? Well, PC is always released first. Visit the ARK Wiki to see when your release will be.

What about these messages I see in my Web UI? (Can't list all examples). But on release day you will see many different status's. ie: restarting, rebooting, drive not available and so on.
Just be patient and the update will come.
Another I have learned in the past say the release was out for 8hrs and your Server still says 'restart'. I have actually down a shutdown and restart and oddly enough I got the update. I figure it got hosed. But I am not promoting everyone to keep restarting their servers. lol.
I'm worried I will lose some files. Go to the Wiki and do a backup to your PC if needed. Copy the entire shooter folder. It will grab you Map file, survivor, dino, backup, and tribe.
Also you can go to your Web UI and go to settings>configuration profiles. I love this page as it creates a quick copy of your ini settings. So you can switch back and forth between settings.
Server Web UI says restarting or updating and stuck. really, you should get and download HLSW. It shows in reality if your server is up or down, including what version. This is what Nitrado support will suggest as well. Sometimes the Web UI appears to be catching up.
In reality on Release day you have to be patient.
If you are experiencing issues, wait say an hour or 2- if you truly need to escalate and want Nitrado Support you MUST create ticket. Posting in the forum for a server issue does nothing for you. It could be server specific. Support | nitrado.net
NOTE: Tickets will be picked up in the order in which they were received. Be prepared in some cases to not have your ticket picked up as normal.
Here is the patch update info. NITRADO APPRECIATES YOUR BUSINESS and Patience. Thank you.
