HI, I have just bought a server for me and my friends to play on. It is a 10 slot server and all it says at the moment is "installng" it has said this for just over an hour and I am wondering how long it will take and if I am missing anything.

What game? What Platform? Be sure to include that on your ticket.
You could try re-installing it.

Well, you would see what game you are running, on what platform. Then go into the forums and look for the area that has your game as the topic and post in there.
Above, it was asked what game and platform as well cause we could move your post.
And reinstall is available in your WebUI/Panel.

Rondeau04 should be able to explain how to use the app to reinstall.
If you still find yourself lost you would contact Nitrado Support either by creating at ticket or calling them on Skype.

Hi, about an hour and a half ago I bought a dayz server and it has been installing since. I have looked on a few threads and it has said the average install time should only be 5/10 minuets and to contact support. Any help on this would be very much appreciated "

You are never a bother. I remember one day I started from where you are now. I just never had anyone help me. 
Yes, once its submitted it goes in a queue. Typically its within 24hrs if no other havoc is going on. When they pick it up, it will email you. It will have in the email that the Support agent has added comments and provides a link. Click on that link and it will take you to the web interface to see what the agent typed.
