Everytime I try and edit or create a new messages.xml I cannot get the new file to save. After 2 mins it reverts back to the example message.xml
Creating the in server messages should be working.
Has anyone been able to create in server messages.xml ? Welcome and countdown to server restart messages, etc.

I can tell its not Dayz Dev fault, Most of us doing the wrong code, It's only a small correction need to be done, but right now Nitrado have to fix the issue where we don't have write permission on message.xml. Without that whatever you saved will revert back to previous one, I have sent the solution to one of the manager from Nitrado for fix, once the fixed it I will post sample xml here for it to work otherwise it's useless and only cause high call volume to Nitrado, you can see it works on my server -dope-

It's not, even I tell you won't be able to override current message.xml as it come back to old one, something Nitrado have to fix it and they will, I will give them a call again for follow up

lol i figured it out too btw..you just need some knowledge i wasint sure to post fix or not ..seems they had it off for a reason

sent my feedback to one of Dev, Hope nitrado fix comes soon, xml you just need to remove line 3 default xml <--
check twitter for posted fix an hour ago by Dayz but again I really hope nitrado fix the issue where message.xml not being saved even after server stop

Shutdown your server. Make your corrections. Restart server. Mine work, and that's what I did.
But, does anyone have a link to an xml file with server countdowns already coded out. or can someone copy and paste them here? I understand how to change what's in the default file but not sure how to add more timers. I think I found them once but I didn't bookmark the page and can't find it again. Not sure the conversion.
