I'm trying to make small changes (increase numbers) but validation says No. I don't see what the problem is...
Anyone have a clue? (sorry for poor image quality)

Zwei Mal dmin und dmax wird nicht definiert?
Kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass das so korrekt ist.
Sorry, now in english:
Two times defined dmin and dmax is not defined, this might be the issue.

Ahh, yes there are indeed few lines that have "dmin dmin" instead of "dmin dmax". I have no idea how that happened...need to be careful with these things. Thanks!
typical copy & paste errors
typical copy & paste errors
Must've been mistake when I used Replace.
Anyway, Next problem is: file is validated ok now but even though I increased dmin and dmax numbers (doubled city and village infected, for example), zombie amount has not increased. Sometimes it's the opposite, the more I increase numbers -> the less there are zombies. Same with loot, I increase numbers -> less loot. This is beyond my understanding.
I suggest using NotePad++ and using the "REPLACE" function to change numbers. Don't copy paste, you can make errors all the time. Just make sure the REPLACE uses the same partial text each time.
For your further question:
You should also change the smin, smax numbers too. And I would look at the max zombies in the global.xml file. Furthermore, I would look at the events.xml file which defines how many zombie spawns are used at any one time (it doesn't control how many zombies, but how many spawn points are used to generate the numbers you defined in the zombies territory file earlier).
And please:
backup your files before editing by simply renaming the copy, I suggest putting the date at the end of file extension.
E.g. types.xml_241222
to exactly knowing when it was edited even after days, otherwise you will get confused.
