Can someone please explain the time settings and their numerical value like, server time multiplier (0-24) and server time multiplier (night) (0.1-64). Also what about using the systemtime? The explanation didnt really help much

Short example for cycle running on my server:
systemtime replaced by fix date, e.g. 2019/05/16/06/30
2 restarts (e.g. 03 am and 03 pm) , so we have 12 hours periods
timeaccleration set to 2 (daytime 2 times faster)
nighttimeaccleration set to 10 (nighttime 20 times faster read description! 10x2=20)
Server starts at 6:30 ingame time having one night time lasting approximately 30 minutes of darkness, then new restart and new cycle.
For more restarts you have to do some math.

Can someone help me with this setup? I'm trying to setup a public server.
I want the server to restart at 3:00am and 3:00pm
I'd like there to be roughly 3.5 hours of daylight (including sunrise/sunset) and 20-30 minutes of night time.
So I guess a 4 hour cycle of day/night repeated 3 times between each 12 hour server restart.
I'm also not sure what would be good setting for Custom Servertime or what that even is? And should persistent server time be on or off?
Any additional settings advice would be greatly appreciated

Custom date is influecing the start of dusk and dawn , shorter nights in summer, longer nights in winter.
So you can vary the length of night by adjusting the date a little bit.
Persistent time should be off.
You have to get a value of ~ 20 for a 30minute night.
This value is based on my experience and not calculated.
Calculation of multiplier to get a value of ~20 as followed (nighttimeaccleration is influenced by timeaccleration too! Read comments in the line)
nighttimeaccleration = yourmultipler multiplied with timeaccleration
20 = 5x4
In your case I suggest a timeaccleration multiplier of 5 and a nighttimeaccleration of 4
Maybe you have to vary the fixed date to get best results.

How do I know which months and days/times are best for my scenario.. is there a chart or anything showing this information?
Because it's not based off my location it would be based off of actual game location or server location ?

Good question, but I don’t know the exact answer.
As I wrote, it’s a little bit of try and error.
I had to watch a clock when searching for the value of nighttimeaccleration on my server.
I think it’s all based on internal program code of BI, at which time dusk, night and dawn is handled.

Im trying to get mine figured out but im struggling... I don't know why they have to make it some complicated lol...
I want to have 2 server restarts (3am/3pm) which I already setup...This is where I get lost; I would like to have 3 full cycles, Each cycle being 4 Hours Long (3 Cycles x 4 Hours = 12 Hours then Server Restart) Id like to have 3.5 Hours of Daylight and 30 Minutes of night).

Did you measure the time a day/night lasts?
Every unexpected server restart resets the cycle (server crash, manual restart)
The guide from DayzTV is missing the nighttimeaccleration settings.
Did you use my suggested multipliers? d=5 and n=4 (nighttime value 20)
Did you measure times of daylight/ darkness?

There's also a spreadsheet link on there that all you have to do is put in the amount of day/night time you want and it give you the correct settings automatically

The video he has li led is by far the best one out there. He also goes over how to do the .ath to figure out your own configurations.

So the formula should be (for example with two server restarts, daytime multiplier of 2, nighttime multiplier of 11)
(Real-time Minutes per day) / (how many server-restarts) / (daytime multiplier) / (nighttime multiplier) = (how many minutes of night)
(24x60) / 2 / 2 / 11 = 32.727272
An example of the math with 4 server restarts, daytime multiplier of 4, nighttime multiplier of 20
(24x60) / 4 / 4 / 20 = 4.5 Minutes
