  • My server was working fine, an automatic update started now it’s broken. How fantastic is that, pay for something they continue to break. Had the server for 15 days and only played 8 of them.


    it’s stuck in a restart loop, I’ve force stopped & force started it and it continues to restart. The update is nowhere to be seen Incase I need to redo it. Any idea how to see if I do?

    The current version is 948.19


    You shouldn't have to redo anything on your end as it's automatic and cannot be forced to update. If forcestop isn't working and it's still stuck in a restart loop I would suggest either sending a support ticket or wait alittle longer to see if it comes up. It can take a little bit of time after an update to come back up.

    How many hours is a bit of time?

    3 Servers been in 'updating' or 'restarting' and both on and off for 3 hours. (Force start & stop also don't do anything.)
    Others with XBox servers mentioned their servers were still down as well.

    Is there maybe a larger outage issue or borked update?

  • The xbox server I have rented is also stuck in a restart loop, what am i suppose to do? It was working just find before this automatic update.

  • Yeah, four of my servers never came back up after the update. Two did, but the others have said that they are updating and the start/stop buttons are greyed out.


    Thought it was taking unusually long when they where still like that hours later, so checked in here and saw other people having issues also.

  • hamed126 you can try restoring a backup to before the error occurred or you can submit a support ticket and support can take a look at whats causing it

    Can we do a class/community support ticket with 100 names to get their attention faster than a few days? LOL
    I don't think the problem is isolated but would love to be wrong. :)

    PS Already tried the backup trick on one server, no difference. Will try again and any other tricks I haven't heard of before.

    Ok. I do not have access to your servers or account. If youre server is still having issues after the update support are the only ones that can see what is causing those issues. I apologize I know this isn't the answer you want to hear though.

  • We are unable to provide that information. You will need to ask support specifically. Typically if it is hardware related, yes. If game related, no.

    Tickets are typically picked up in 24-48hrs. That is the standard. At times when the queue is large, it can take longer. We have zero access to the queue, servers or accounts.
