been downloading the xbox update for 3 hours now. I wonder what will finish the race first. The game update or the server update . Place your bets
I got lucky with my xbox, it held at about 300mpbs and was done by 130. But the wife and my 2 other friends were all getting 5mpbs through the windows store version. They literally JUST finished. Can't believe 5mbps beat the server update lol.
i could say worse but ill just keep it to myself

Yeah literally was going 5mbps for me and my partner. It actually just finished downloading. Now we just have this 504 error......
Apparently a yellow dot suggests your server may be in a state of update.
Right now its been a red dot for hours. I think it's in a state of disbelief.

This is what happens when a big game releases a DLC on a sunday evening and the only guy looking after the datacenter is the youth training scheme chap who expected a 'quiet one' and was 4 beers into his shift and ready for a nap when all hell broke loose.
At this rate ill be sleeping in a thatch box with no tames on the beach tonight, some of us have work in the morning...

I think it is More Cause they released it on a sunday and honestly Fairness to Nitrado what Company doesnt Operate a skeleton Crew on sundays
Joking aside I'm sure it is nothing to do with staffing. Nitrado offer a 24 hour a day 365 days a year product so staffing up for events announced ahead of time should be well within their wheelhouse.
I have no idea what the problem is and Im sure they wont tell us in a transparent way but it is just damnably frustrating.
It's definitely widespread. In the server list, you can select any map in the filter, and the list is full. Select Fjordur: No Sessions Found (Unofficial PC sessions)
mines doing something now, back to web interface page says updating

its funny cuz now even if we wanted to play on another map, we cant even access the interface to do so
