ARK: Survival Evolved requires an update
All updates for ARK: Survival Evolved will be installed within 2 hours after the official Steam release. Please note, that the deployment time can vary greatly depending on the respective update size."
I realize that's steam, but we should be close.

But this isn't an update to an existing map. This is an entirely new map. So that info doesn't seem totally relevant. We want to know when we will be able to select "Fjordur" from the map list under the General settings.

It actually is. DLCs are treated just like updates. Once Nitrado has all the files needed for the servers, work begins and such. When they are ready it will be ready in the drop-down list.
And it is related as nearly everything in that link someone has asked about today somewhere. More than 1 person reads such posts. Its general info.
For any additional updates, please visit the Nitrado Twitter. That is where all updates occur usually first. Thank you.

But this isn't an 'update' like a patch. It is a DLC. (I acknowledge the rechnical similarity i am referencing it in the sense of players just view patches and DLCs differently)
that being said it is not unreasonable for paying customers to be given clear guidance on when the files will be seeded so we can simply select the new map on our dashboards and hit launch. I know it isn't your fault as moderators but you do represent the company that is taking our cash from us. So maybe the answer 'please stop asking and just take what we given you when you get it' isn't the most diplomatic.

Look we are really sorry it is taking an inordinate amount of time to roll this DLC out and we recognise we are much slower than many of our competitors. However we hope you can be patient and value the overall service we provide.rather than... asked and answered, stop pestering us

Update: Some of you may start noticing your servers going to a "yellow" dot, instead of green.
That means the server is more than likely going through the DLC update. Be patient. And even once it updates, the map may not be available at the same time. Continue to be patient. It will happen. Thank you.

Server. My xbox was updated by about 130pm Eastern.

Yes, if you were referencing my post, I was specifying my Xbox had already updated an hour earlier because the one post by Nitrado made it sound like the update wasn't yet out for xbox, so I was just clarifying in case others were confused.
Edit: Oh I see other posts you may have been directing this too.

FjorDur has been out for several hours now, any chance Nitrado will add it at some point today, or is this something we are going to have to wait days on. The server I am paying for is ready to go, but sitting on Idle because the FjorDur STILL is not on Nitrado.....
