CHMOD & running files help pls

i need to do the following to make Ravenhearst mod work - can anyone let me know how to do this please?

1. Make 'run_bepinex_server.sh' executable. Execute below command in your game root directory.
   chmod u+x run_bepinex_server.sh
2. Start the game. You have 2 options:
   a) in the console while in your game root directly type ./run_bepinex.sh
   b) while in GUI file manager right click the run_bepinex.sh and pick "Run as a Program"
