Mods Are Not Working

Dear forum members,
for some time now we have been creating and maintaining new ways to help game server admins with questions and problems as quickly as possible, e.g. our Guides section and the Nitrado Community Discord.

    I stopped the server and applied a few small mods (less zombies, shorter night time) and it didn't seem to change anything. I then made a few major changes to see if that would apply to my server, again no change. I am fairly new to this, do I have to do something aside from restarting the server after saving the new files? Thanks for any assistance or clarification.

    I'm having the same issue where none of my changes are working (not trying to reduce the number of zombies though). My changes consist of trying to get the Ada to spawn in with all the parts and items in the trunk and setting up new spawn locations for other items and increasing the amount of those items as well. But nothing I have done is working, it seems like there are even fewer Adas on the map since I have yet to find more than one and it was missing most of the parts for it.

I've been following the steps given in guide videos on YouTube by Scalespeeder Gaming, but so far nothing works. I can not figure out why it's not working either and so far I've not had anything else go wrong in the game such as things that I haven't changed not working right, thankfully. I've done multi reinstalls of the game on the server as well as restarts every time I try making changes. I've even set everything back to default in between some of my attempts but still nothing works. Has anyone else had this issue and figured out how to get the mods to work?

    Where do I actually upload the files onto the server though? The guide videos I've watched say to put them in the files in place of the original files but the web interface in the file browser says to upload them to the "custom" subfolder. Which one do I actually do because I've done both and neither have worked with any of the changes I've tried.

    I have entered @CF;@Communityonlinetools to the mod command line in settings and i have uploaded the folders to the server and put keys in the key folder. Nothing is happening, I can see the server in the launcher and it says 'no mods'. if i load the mods client side i get. the PBO error that server doesnt have the same mods as the client.


    i followed the instruction, ive watched you tube videos, i read through this forum, i cannot find what i have missed. Could someone please offer any insight.


    i did find a thread about enabling steam only in the settings, but this option doesnt appear for me.
