  • Seems like Nitrado is behind all other SCUM server providers when it comes to stuff like that, always takes ages for stuff like that to be added.

Seems like it, can't imagine adding a config file to the settings needs 2+ days. as its still not there as of this post.

  • Nope ... I was thinking about switching providers if this takes much longer I think Nitrado have made my choice for me

Honestly I wish I heeded the warnings and never suggested we go with nitrado. I dunno how much SCUM devs are to blame and how much of it is Nitrado. But the desync and lag are horrible. The lack of ability to make our own back ups, to do our own updates, and support that just tells you all the above is basically: "working fine! :D!" Makes me miss some minecraft hosts from back in the day.

    You said it....

  • I would not say the SCUM Devs are to blame for this, since you got access to those files when the patch dropped at other Providers.

We are now a week into this patch, and not one message from Nitrado when or even if they are bothered to add those files.

Yea. other hosts did it the same day as the update came out, yet here we are waiting for a week already. kinda feel bad i chose the wrong host..

  • You all should have access to the .json file. Under [Settings] click [CONFIG FILES], under EDIT FILE it should default to serversettings.ini. Click the black around that and you should see several other files you can edit.;)

  • Hello,

thank you for your contributions the update is already integrated, unfortunately currently only for new installations / new servers.

I have just asked internally how this looks for existing servers. There is currently checked.

As soon as this was integrated, I'll let you know here in the thread again.

    Thank you for the understanding.

  • I did make a new server a few days after the 0.7 patch dropped and don't have access to that file, so either it was done just recently or that statement is simply not true.

Yea, we "should" have access to it, but we don't since it is missing.

If we had access we wouldn't have this discussion.

So after a week you guys only managed to apply this for new people. and current customers can pretty much get the finger?

can't believe you guys have such a difficulty adding a config file to a dropdown menu.

Why can't you just give us FTP access otherwise? i really regret choosing this provider and wish we could get our map files and transfer to a different host.

  • just got this message from support. Biggest crap i ever read.

    Hello,

    Hello,

We are happy to report that the EconomyOverride.json file has been implemented in our system.

Sadly, you will need to reinstall your server in order to find this file on your "config files" in the drop-down menu.

Please remember that this will wipe any configurations/progress you have on your server.

While we understand this is not ideal, but this would be the only way to gain this feature.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

    Regards

    Samuel Miguel

  • xD

Oh boy, yeah that is quite something, but a good thing since it shows us that we should just go to another more competent provider.

  • Indeed, i have requested a full refund and i am gonna move to a different host.
