On our server one of mine friends can't connect, it goes to 99% and then the dreaded message "lost connection with server"
I have access to the server no issues and can log in without any trouble.. Seen a few treads with same issue and resolved.
What is the solution to this 
if I may ask..
Have you tried to load a new savegame for test purposes? Most of the time the problem is that something is wrong with the savegame, if that works with the new savegame, then try to save your old one via savegame backups.
With which platform are you trying to connect to your server?
