I have just started a SE server and whenever we log out for more than a few minutes and then rejoin our charachter gets reset and we spawn fresh, Anybody know why/how to fix ?

You need a safe place ie power and oxygen to survive offline so if you log off in say a cockpit supplied with oxygen and power u wont respawn same for a station/ship can have a seat as long as again seat gets power and room its in has oxygen

there are also cryo-chambers again need power and oxygen supplied
