Choosing pc or xbox server

So I just bought my first Ark server. I play Ark on pc through the Xbox app and have some friends on Xbox that I want to play with. I bought the pc server thinking that it would show up in "unofficial pc session". Now I am in the setup screen selecting the platform and there is nothing that says crossplay between Xbox. The options are between Steam, Epic, and Stadia. Should I have gotten the Xbox server instead? If so, can I change it without buying another server?

In order to allow Xbox players and PC/Win10 (not steam) to play together (CrossPlay) you would need to rent an XBox server through the Nitrado App.

Questions regarding payment/credits you would need to contact Support directly please. We are unable to assist with that.

If I recall in the past though when this happens, the credit would be applied to the account here, and you would need to purchase the Xbox server as a different transaction.

But only Support would 100% know.
